Trading Vince Carter makes SENSE!!!? |

| Its time the New Jersey Nets trade Vince Carter the guy is worse than cancer to the new jersey nets his one of the most few inconsistent players in the NBA one night he'll have 40 points and the next game he's lucky if he can get 20 points and thats not the worse he cant fit to the nets routine of fast break points and dont mesh well with RJ or J-KIDD its pretty clear specially lately i mean when was the last time you saw a ally hoop from jkidd to carter? The Hawks are very interested in VC so this is how i would see a deal working out for both the nets and the Hawks send Vince Carter(SG), Kristc(C) and Antoine Write(SG,SF) for Josh Smith(SF,SG) and 2006 1st round draft pick Sheldon Williams(C) and a future 2nd round draft pick and with the salary cap go get somebody like KG, Kenyon Martin or Nazer Mohammad..... the line up might look like this...
PG Jason Kidd SG Josh Smith SF Richerd Jefferson PF Mikki Moore/ Kenyon Martin/ KG or a equal powerful PF C Sheldon Williams |

| Your right...but i wouldnt trade him to atlanta and neither will new jersey. let me tell you why...
vince carter is an all-star calliber player. im a raptors fan and even when he was with us he acted like it was his team and, as you said, he was VERY inconsitent. the reason why new jersey will not trade vince carter to atlanta is becaue they can get much more for him than mainly josh smith. if you look at the nets starting line up with the trade that you think they will make, its just not complete with out that 3rd "famous" or "all-star" player. the nets can get a more consitent gaurd that may not score as many points per game but that can mend together better than carter does. i personally think that they should trade vince carter for a big man, because the 3 best players they have on their team are gaurds, and one forward. i think that if new jersey can trade carter for a big man (preferably power forward), they will be a more balenced team. they will have a distributor point gaurd, do-it-all small forward, and a "banger" as a big man that can clean the glass for them, and not make j-kidd get all the rebounds. i mean come on, hes the smallest guy on the court and hes averaging 8.4 boards a game. | well I agree with you to a sense. the nets are dying with a big man in the CENTER. they need dwight howard or someone dominant like that. they always get schooled by a shaquille oneal or a ben wallace in the playoffs in the east. kenyon martin would be a sick fit for that team too. the problem with vinsanity (other than being inconsistent) is shooting the deep shots. he HAS TO ATTACK THE RIM. member his dunk contest? he is a feared rim attacker when he makes a few layups he can then be unstopabble but for now he is shooting like 6-19 each night or worse. |
